I’m 75 years old and I love wearing red lipstick. I have been doing that for years and now I am being accused of it. Come on now… it’s unfair Yesterday, I was getting ready for a family dinner, and my son saw me applying my favorite red shade. He sneered and said, “Mom, you look like a desperate old clown trying to cling to your youth. It’s embarrassing, you don’t have to do it.” He said it with a laughing face as if it were a joke. BUT HE MEANT IT. And then his wife with the ugliest smile ever looks at me and says: “Oh I agree with Steph, red lipstick is not for older people. I think you should stick to what other people are doing” Right at that moment I said to her: “HONEY WHY DON’T YOU MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS” You should have seen her face, she was taken aback.
